That’s okay I’m sure only the „purest“ Japanese locals will be lining up around the block to put their years of university education to great use by working on a factory line 🙄

I don’t know I think a lot of that is just a lot of political noise. There are so many foreigners working in Nagoya for the Auto companies that is no way these companies could function without these workers.

If you RTFA this was in response to a law which requires Chinese citizens to cooperate with Chinese Intelligence Agencies. That could be problematic if a Chinese national was hired by the prefectural government. That person may be required to pass information to the government about the location and activity of other Chinese citizens.
