Word games from the government. Numbers don’t lie.
My thoughts:
After the news yesterday, I read so many X posts from Japaneses people who got shocked and commented Japan will not be Japan anymore.
Japanese people do not have to be in a panic. Japan will not take foreign migrants as much as people are concerned. Japan can just take 10% of the capped numbers.
Government, backpedaling after directly inserting their own feet into their mouths? Surely you jest.
That’s just the foreign workers under that specific program. The regular engineering/humanities visa workers don’t have a particular cap
