The song is Sillanpään marssilaulu, lyrics by F.E. Sillanpää. Based on the machine translation, I’m not sure which exact verses are used in your book, though.

There is a famous march song from Sillanpää that we sing in the army, simply called „Sillanpään marssilaulu“ = Sillanpää’s march song. This has some same themes but the actual sentences are not quotes from it, even if mistakes are expected. ”Sillanpään Marssilaulu” was one of the songs we were required to learn before we were allowed to go to the canteen when I was a recruit in the Finnish Defense Forces. It is probably the most well known march song in Finland.
