      I envy Republican politicians. They truly have the most boneheaded, brainless, and impressionable electorate in history. You can spend millions of their tax dollars on taking flights with your girlfriend to professional fights, give military contracts to your son’s company (that launders money back to you), and so much more, and they’ll eat it up like the stupid pigs they are.

      If you have a humiliation fetish, look no further than Trump’s electorate. They vote the same way every time, and every time, their healthcare gets cut, their groceries skyrocket in price, and their schools crumble.

      I used to sympathize with these people, but now? They can rot. They brought this on all of us, including themselves, all because of racism.

      I worked in government for a long time in DC, and up until the current administration there’s been at least an attempt at managing optics in Government purchasing. For example, I’m sure most people in the USA recognize that most US Government-owned vehicles are American brands, like Ford or GM products. On top of that, the US government has contracts worth hundreds of millions or dollars with GM Defense, which provides the armored versions of Chevy Suburbans. The armored Fords that are often used in Federal law enforcement are usually contract-bought Ford Expeditions. These are very large SUV’s because they’re used to transport multiple people and lots of equipment.

      Take a look at the size of a BMW X5 and look at the difference in size. There is NO excuse or valid reason to purchase these vehicles when purchasing contracts already exist and the normal vehicles used are more useful in every way. And the worst part is, where are the oversight committees?

      I’m so glad I don’t work in DC anymore. What a complete dumpster fire.

      He’s such an unserious person. You can see how over his head he is at every appearance. He’s so caught up in being a MAGA insider he can’t even pretend to do a competent job.

      He’s the fed version of a guy who faked his resume and got a job He’s not qualified for, but is going to show up and eat in the cafeteria and play ping pong and work out in the gym and collect checks until he gets caught being incompetent.

      I want sweeping audits in ’26 or ’28, criminal charges for the slightest wrongdoing. If you as a civil servant were party to this fraud, waste, and abuse, you better have a good f’ckin‘ lawyer.

      I’ve bought armored SUVs for the Govt before. X5 wasn’t even a contender, because they couldn’t provide the specs needed like a Suburban/Escalade can.

      If I’m understanding this right, I think they went out and illegally bought production model SUVs, and then illegally altered those vehicles to add armor. They left everything else intact if it’s happened that fast. Sweet Baby Jesus, they can’t just hit Mute on the steering wheel and expect it to be a secure compartment!
