Nearly two centuries of perpetual existence. Not a single disease cured. If anything Pfizer has worsened the world in more ways than better it.
That isn’t what they’re in business to do.
Depends on how strict your definition of cure is.
So when you’re sick you don’t take any medicine?
Curing people is bad business, no repeat customers. Creating drugs that will halt the progression of a disease while you’re taking the drug creates a lot of repeat customers.
Making Viagra can keep you profitable for 50 years
Most sicknesses need treatments or prevention. You don’t cure infections, you treat them. You don’t cure polio, you prevent it. Headache cure?
They’ve killed a shit ton of people though…
