Der vorgeschlagene Sakura-Name für eine neue Mittelschule in Japan löst Beschwerden wegen Kamikaze-Überschneidungen aus

I wonder if Mustang high school in Oklahoma, or Ernst Heinkel school in Germany (named after the same person as the plane) ran into similar problems. Some over-officious twit has too much time on their hands. Naming it after a weapon = bad; naming it after the flower the weapon was named after = reclaiming a positive use of the word. Its either that or the word gets consigned to history’s scrap heap and if we start doing that we’re going to need a bigger list.
