A president who builds something like this as a monument to himself, while simultaneously mocking the affordability crisis, has a massive ego complex and sickness of the mind.

Billionaires who would donate to something like this need their taxes raised. A lot.

We get it, dude, you’re terrified no one will love you once you’re gone.

    3. What’s he talking about? My dog leaves a monument of Trump every time I take him for a walk first thing in the morning.

what is this guys deal trying to get a cabinet position by sucking trump harder? he jealous the other hosts got positions?

No, Trump is right no one will build any monuments to him.  In fact, America is going to spend the rest of its existence trying to forget him.  Just like Germany tries to forget Hitler.

    6. What a sad human being – nothing will ever fill the void that used to be his soul.

He’s wrong. We will build a monument to him. An outhouse at ADX Florence.

Great. And we’ve now established that presidents get to do whatever the fuck they want whenever they fuck they want up to and including slapping their name on other people’s buildings so the next president can knock it down or rename it the „Greatest president of all time and guy who defeated former TV show host/Jeffrey Epsteins best friend Donald J. Something or other in landslide election Joe Biden memorial ballroom presented by Barack Obama and George Soros“ and none of you can say boo about it. Awesome world you’ve created.

    9. If he does, I really hope the historic society in charge of the White House tears whatever he builds as soon as hole dies or is out of office.

    10. It’s weird a talking-cancer like Watters who is firmly a passenger on the Trump Train would admit that. It looks bad, anyway you cut it.

“No one else will” because presidents aren’t supposed to worship themselves. This isn’t a monarchy.

I want whichever Dem runs for 2028 to include tearing down any ballroom as a part of their agenda.

Make it clear that shit won’t stand literally and figuratively once he’s gone.

Kings and Pharaohs build monuments to themselves. American leaders build positive legacies that millions will recall fondly. Pedo Trump thinks he’s Pharoah.

    14. And what a monument it will be. Financed by immense amounts of corruption. Overpriced. Overbudget. Unconstitutional. I can’t think of a more lasting tribute.

Trump will be forgotten just like Kirk and Limbaugh are.

They need martyrs to keep the grift going. Trump has no upside if he is not in front of the camera or 6 feet under.

    16. Trump is speed running putting his name on stuff just so his narcissistic ass can see it and revel in it before he croaks. He knows nothing will be built after he’s gone plus how’s he going to enjoy it. I wouldn’t be surprised if he hosts his own state funeral before he passes just so he can witness it.

I’m wondering if he would have built a ballroom for his own place at Mar-a-loga, out of *his own money*? Or was he just using Presidential privileges aka money to toot his own horn?

The Ozymandius National Ballroom by Ratheon, sponsored by Palantir.

    19. If he wants to stick his name on things for his legacy I would be happy to let him do that. Just go ahead and pick the prison of his choosing, let him slap his name on it and cut the ribbon, and then throw his ass in there for the rest of his miserable life.

And like any monument to a bloviating asshole it will serve as a fine public toilet.

When does he announce that the US is building a Pyramid?

And some sort of scheme to fund it

„Ozymandias“ by Percy Bysshe Shelley is a famous sonnet about the ruins of a colossal statue of a long-dead king in the desert, serving as a powerful commentary on the transience of power, fame, and human pride, as the king’s boastful inscription („Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!“) is ironically surrounded by nothing but „lone and level sands“.

    23. And just like most things Trump tries to build himself, it will end in failure. His list of those is already monumental.

    24. When it gets torn down, the cost to build it, tear it down, and rebuild the East Wing should come directly out of the Trump estate. And I am pretty damned sure Congress can make it so.

    25. I think another landfill on Staten Island would be appropriate

      „Trump Memorial Dump“
