  1. If you mean somewhat ineffective to completely ineffective, then you’d be correct.

I thought drugs were illegal in Japan because they must be using A LOT of them. Puff puff pass Takaichi.

Nah this kinds of pools are just for rage bait and click farm.

It’s an opinion pool made by the manichi for 2 days which are Saturday and Sunday.

I’m 100% certain that Japan’s claimed IQ test result average is fraudulent

  4. It’s basically just a popularity poll, everyone likes her because of blame pushing onto foreigners, so no matter what they ask、60% of those people will say whatever favors her、even if prices are the same or have gotten worse.

Alternative title: 43% of Japanese are disconnected from reality as they approve of non-existent price control measures from the current administration

Polling is tricky in Japan, because Japanese are very wary of being seen as “negative”, so if they were generally supportive of Takaichi, they are likely to answer the “average” or “somewhat” no matter what they think.

This is what I call vibes-based politics: it’s not about the economy, the foreign policy, or even ideology. It’s about making voters *feel good* — making them feel they are *in control and in the right*.

Blaming foreigners/foreign countries is an easy way to do this.

It’s extremely effective and common all around the world unfortunately
