GA is a bright spot for Democrats, but PA and WI are quite concerning. I imagine it has to do with fracking and beef/dairy prices respectively but still, Dems need to make strides in those states to expand their appeal and make people understand the reality of life under GOP governance.

The part of America that believes they’ll get a bail out no matter what, that fears big cities because they think it’s the purge, that think the immigrants come in two versions: „the good ones“ farm hands and „most of them“ MS-13 terrorists, that thinks gay people are literal demons because Jesus or something, and that have never been at the top of the Public School rankings really love what Trump is doing with the country.

That graph is hilariously skewed and STILL is abysmal.
The cap of the approval isn’t 100 in the scale. It’s 34%. The article then says anything below 50% is concerning. Which means that the entire system is exactly that. But if some idiot were to look at it and not pay any attention to stuff other than colors they’d think he still has a strong support percentage in much of the middle of the country.

My grandpa lives in WV and was a die hard Trump fan. I wouldn’t say completely MAGA hat cultist though. This Thursday I saw him and he was cursing Trump up and down because of his „affordability is a democrate hoax“ bit. He also said RFK JR was a disgrace to this country because „a 15 year heroin addict is now our secretary of health… how the fuck does that make sense“. He also had NO CLUE how much money Elon Musk had. He was shell shocked when I told him to google it. He is old. 80 years exactly. Fox news only. I’m disappointed because I told him all this prior to him voting but he still voted Trump. I’m proud at least he is seeing what’s going on.

> Racial and ethnic divisions are evident. Trump’s support among white voters is roughly split down the middle (around 47 percent of white respondents approve and 49 percent disapprove of him), but voters of color are decisively anti-Trump.
> Only about one in ten Black Americans (roughly nine percent) approve of Trump’s presidency, while nearly 88 percent disapprove, an almost unanimous level of opposition.
Just gonna leave this here.

Disapproving of Trump doesn’t mean a non-vote for him or republicans. My dad does NOT like anything about Trump. But he will vote, and only for republicans. He could never vote for a democrat no matter how much he likes the democrat running (as a person-Biden), and no matter how much he dislikes the republican (Trump). Democrats are evil by nature. Hahaha. Not really funny, but…

The only thing that matters is when will he be out of office for good. He was hated, we had a blue wave in 2018, the asshole remained, was impeached twice, went on to incite an insurrection and won a second term four years later.
I really don’t care if a bunch of dumbasses in flyover states are mad at him now. They would give him a THIRD term if gas prices dare tick up under a Democrat.

The fact that fascist psychopath is in office and it’s above zero shows just how sick and evil the people of this country are.
It is the Trump Chaos. I been thinking about what you are mentioning for a while. I never been a political hound digging deep into what the government does, but with Trump stuff is happening daily, hourly even. I used to go a month maybe more hearing about something Biden, or Bush, or Obama are doing. We did not hear one of them that they would openly Primary a senator or house member if they did not fall in line. It is just non stop. It is exhausting.
