Hey still beats the pizza in the plastic bag that you had to actually pay money to buy when I was in elementary school in the US
I’m conflicted on this one. Like, every kid is different and telling me that a growing kid is coming home saying they’re hungry is like a „no shit“ statement. Of course they’re hungry! Maybe pack a little extra food in their pack to help them out after school.
You can’t expect the school lunch to fit every growing child perfectly. If your child needs more calories, supply them.
That said, I understand where they’re coming from with the whole „free lunch“ thing being provided by the government but not being enough. But I mean, what do you expect? The government always tries to cut costs.
dont they usually get seconds IF they finish before lunch is over? My kids do at their nursery…
Is this a school or a prison?
That’s amazing they can serve something for 5200 yen a month. Barely 175 yen a day.
Add fiber and flavor with natto and a raw egg.
