    1. The 64 GB LCD version was one of the best deals ever because it was so easy to upgrade the SSD post purchase.

I got a 64 GB on sale in 2023 and immediately bought a 1 TB SSD to swap, and the combined cost was just slightly higher than buying a 256 GB (also on sale) directly from Valve. It almost felt like I was robbing Valve LOL.

I later bought a refurb 512 GB OLED and swapped SSDs yet again, putting the 512 into my LCD model and the 1 TB into my OLED, and I managed to sell it for the same price as a refurb 512 GB LCD model minus sales tax. Sucks that Valve doesn’t offer the OLED with a smaller SSD for a lower price – I guess they figured there are too many people like me?

Good times. Looking forward to the second generation.

    2. Already sold out of the LCD. You can thank open AI for the price increase we will see in all computers (if you can even get one) over the next number of years.
