Yeah everyone knows that except the half of the republican party in denial that Russia is a threat.
The other half knows it and now openly supports Russia.
If you’re Republican, which half are you?

It was never going to end with Ukraine. This was a test of international law, and it failed at every step. By demonstrating that the world is willing to accept blatant land grabs, we’ve opened up a whole new world of military engagements that we will be trying to solve for the next two lifetimes.

That dude is a joke, he was predicting end of war about dozen of times and none of his predictions actually came true. Also he is quite a media dude for being a chief of intelligence service, probably earning points on future elections if they ever going to happen.

Russia or putin? Cause Putin ain’t have much time, what will Russia do without him is the real question
Lightharibo on
Of course he does, it’s in his and Ukraine’s best interest to continue striking fear into hearts of Europeans so they don’t stop sending weapons and money. What else would anyone expect him to say? That it’s all good no worries?
Just to be clear: I’m in full support of Ukraine. But let’s be realistic.

I’m sure Russia would be cowering in the corner if we had a president who was not a Russian asset. We could squish them like a bug if we wanted to.

It will be a bloodbath on every corner. Baltics have seen russian occupation. They will choose death over another 50 years of torture, raping and oppresion.

That would be insane thing todo before he concluded his business in Ukraine. It would be inviting 4 out of the 5 most capable airforces in the world to undo everything you’ve tried to achieve in the last 4 years in about a week.
Make it make sense.

The White House’s new National Security Strategy give Putin the green light to gain control over territories in what he sees as Russia’s traditional sphere of influence . Ditto Xi in Asia. Once the U.S. takes Venezuela, Russia will have license to move on the Baltics and China on Taiwan.

That is never gonna happen. They are already suffering and their economy will HAVE to tank in the near future.
Attacking Baltic states that are: a) preparing themselves b) part of NATO, and Russia cant win that alone

Nothing will happen until Ukraine is conquered! Russia will not be able to defeat Ukraine and will make a deal!⭐This is what will happen in the coming years!⭐

Then let’s all collectively stop the motherfuckers now, they already have supposedly 350,000 troops in Belarus as we speak.
There is reports like this coming daily, and Putin has said it himself that Russia has a continued itch for war?? it’s the last leg propping up his economy, and it can’t go on forever. But it’s gone on way too fucking long as it is.

I tell you, the Ukrainians are doing their best to try and rope the rest of the world into this bullshit war.
Russia is not going to try and invade a NATO country. I really do want to see a peaceful and independent Ukraine but the amount of fear mongering the Ukrainians try and push needs to be put in check.
Remember folks this is the same Ukrainian intelligence chief that assured the world that he would be drinking wine on the beaches of crimea in 2023.

So outright invading three NATO countries? Certainly that will drag Sweden, Finland and Denmark in directly as well. Norway and Poland aren’t unthinkable to join here either. That’s another three or five NATO countries. Just for starters.
If the rest of NATO doesn’t get directly involved then it collapses. The idea is to have each other’s backs and be stronger together. Not getting involved would mean turning the back to allies in time of dire need.
So it’s Russia vs Europe in the largest war since WW2 that Russia is planning? I doubt Russia has enough gas in the tank for that but hey they could get lucky if NATO turns on itself. Then they only have to fight the Baltics and the Nordics and maybe some of the eastern European countries.
FunForm1981 on
May I ask why they need Baltics? No offense, but it would be much smarter and easier to take over Kazakhstan, which is larger than all of Eastern Europe combined with one of the largest gold, oil and potassium resources? They are just 20 million people with significant Russian minority and one of smallest military budget per capita globally

Russia is weak AF, not a chance they can „occupy“ anything. But I’m sure this is something they keep telling themselves to feel important.

Though the western worlds response to the invasion of Ukraine has been lackluster and can’t fathom how Kremls conclusion from the current situation is that they’ll be ready to invade NATO territory in a few years. I hope, and believe, the response will be much greater when invading a NATO country (even without the US). Either they’re delusional or have guarantees of support from China.

1. Sync with China’s move on Taiwan next year
2. Set off small tactical nuke in Zaporizhzhya’s NPP to be able to deny and confirm nuclear blackmail as next option in Europe
3. Explode a children’s hospital in Kaliningrad and find proof of „Lithuanian fascists“ for pretext.
4. Demand temporary peacekeeping corridor via Suwalki gap
5. Overwhelm local AA with 200+ Shaheds one night, deny involvement, offer assistance and start moving military trains without agreement from Lithuania
