Then why doesn’t he say no? Is he being forced against his will?
Really annoying to have to use standard accounting and not cook the books.
I’m 0% excited to see his damn face all the time. Also 0% excited about the dystopia he seems eager to unleash.
Just imagine how annoying something has to be, to be annoying to *Sam Altman.*
Ayyyyy go fuck yourself
Edit. Imagine if you never think of this dude again. The mental health benefits alone….
We’re 0% excited as well so
This shouldn’t be news and wasting people’s time
‚Oh noes, we need more money because we’re spending more than we’re earning. Let’s IPO to milk those suckers another time.‘
Accountability is a bitch
*“Oh woe is me! Don’t you know how difficult this is? I am not excited at all to reap in mountains of cash“*
I have an extremely tiny violin somewhere but be damned if its only the size of a spec of dust.
Cooking the books will probably be a bit harder, so I can empathise with him on the annoying part.
I would sincerely love to stop seeing pictures of these arseholes whose only function seems to be to destroy society if that’s alright, you large and small news organisations.
OpenAI’s whole ethos has been about moonshots and research direction, not short-term stock bumps or analyst expectations
I had this theory that if we fed all the data in the world to a computer it would solve all our problems.
I had no data to back up that theory and now everyone is about to realize it isn’t true and I have solved nothing.
Having accountability must suck
Just be like Stripe and never go public.
Yeah bro it sucks being held accountable by the general public. Hopefully OpenAI loses so much money so quickly the entire company goes bankrupt and this entire AI era can fade into a short term trend that died hard.
It’s tough earning so much money. My condolences 🙏
Setting aside the fact that this is OpenAI and Sam Altman for a moment, he does have a point. I have known technologists who ended up being the CEO of a public company and they generally hated it. Lots of time spent talking to the board and preparing quarterly reports to convince the shareholders that everything is going well, no time left to actually focus on the technology the company is working on.
„I’m not excited to do this thing but I’m going to push forward to do it anyways“
„Why, I’ll never tell“
Make a profitable product and you won’t have to be.
He hates Elon because he wants to be Elon lol
I wish this absolute clown would just fuck off already.
serious question, when the bubble will burst?
Hopefully he “self deletes” himself.
That would be an awesome headline to wake up to.
Are we going to r/WSB the AI Bubble or let him continue to be a talking head?
Puts on OPAI.
