      I knew there would be redactions, but this is ridiculous.

      The only people who aren’t redacted are maxwell, Epstein, or the name of someone involved in the investigation.

      The pictures that haven’t been redacted are all pictures of empty rooms or closets.

      This is a slap in the face.

      I am not surprised but I will have more outrage if there is zero accountability for failing to comply with the transparency act

      They showed images of Bill Clinton and 800+ pages of redaction. Who are they hiding while trying to push any blame on Democrats? And also, if they are pushing the blame on Democrats, why is only Bill Clinton showed? Are there genuinly no other Democrats in the files?

      I think everyone expected redactions, but holy shit, this is another level. They just blacked out entire pages.

      I don’t give a shit who is implicated. The pedos need to be in jail. The only redactions should be the victims.

      I think a lot of people forget that Trump’s personal defense attorney is somehow legally USDAG and overseeing government transparency in a a case for which his own client is directly implicated. That attorney has an ongoing legal and ethical obligation to protect his client’s interests. Pretending this is normal or harmless ignores an obvious and profound conflict of interest.

      I hope a lawsuit is filed at 12am because most of the shit they released you can’t read I am 1000% sure there is something in there that’s negative towards Trump there is no way everything they redacted is victims and other info that wasn’t supposed to be released

      Dems: Everyone involved must go down and all the Epstein files need to be released not redacted.

      GOP: We are in the business of protecting our pedophiles and will withhold evidence. Redactions here redactions there redactions everywhere!

      After the released documents are completely reviewed, the house oversight committee should release everything they’ve been holding back that they got from the estate, and the victims should release the list of names they’ve been compiling.

      Soldiers, if you have a plan to handle a predator President of the United States, now is the time to enact it. Same goes for the Republican Party, but I have no hope there. Who the hell would?

      The degree to which these are redacted (pages and pages that are completely blacked out) is an intentional “fuck you” to the people pushing for full disclosure. They could have covered certain names or parts, but deleting it all from view is a reminder of who is actually in charge and how powerless the rest of us truly are.

      Real question: is this legal? (not that that matters anymore). The ‘Epstein Files Transparency Act gave Attorney General Pam Bondi 30 days to publish „all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials“ about Epstein available in a searchable and downloadable format’.

      In no way does this meet the spirit of the legislation
