Europe needs to free itself from Israel’s insane plans of never ending war. Nothing good has come of it, and nothing good will ever come of it.

To do what exactly? Once they finish the genocide in Gaza where are they going next?

Curious – I thought Israel and Greece were far from friendly.

Silly idea. The common defense doctrine of Cyprus with Greece in the 90s was questionable itself, Greece would have enough trouble defending its extensive maritime and land border with Turkey to also cover Cyprus. Turkey already got too much land in Cyprus in 1974, there is no way they could justify moving south to the international community. Putting Israel into the mix destroys Cyprus‘ traditional position of having good relationships with both Arabs and Israel. And all three countries have conscript armies that are supposed to be for self defence, not professional units for international missions.
Turkey is a NATO member, Israel is not, what is the point?

The moment any country starts working with israel is the moment I lose respect for their government. And yes this includes AKP, i have no respect for them what so ever. And as for everyone pointing out the illegal occupation of cyprus, while it is illegal, that was in response to thereats of the stability of cyprus as the greek military junta at the time sent soilders to the island in order to oust the Cypriot-Turkish government and join Greece. Despite this, we still do not have the right to continue the occupation through out puppet, the TRNC. But choosing to work with a country actively commiting genocide not even a 100 kms away from your shores is INSANE to me
