      I live in New York. We have Aldi’s and lidl, both pretty awesome stores. We also have Walmart.

    2. Curious as to why Norway doesn’t have Lidls anymore.

      I know Walmart failed in europe due to a combination of getting the concept wrong, and trying to ignore labour laws.

    3. UK has ASDA which is spiritually the same as Walmart, as well as being owned by them.

      Amazing supermarket, I always loved the cheap german brands, way better than our own.

    5. The map colours all the UK and Ireland in for Aldi but while it exists in mainland GB and in the Republic of Ireland. There is no Aldi in Northern Ireland.
      We do have a Lidl though.
