If they ignore this then that means Congress is pointless.
Unanimous vote in one chamber and near unanimous vote in another accompanied by a presidential signature. What more proof do you need that government is nothing but theater? That politicians are selfish bastards who will never save the people?

Isn’t that contempt of congress?
For anyone who doesnt know: this is contempt of congress, meaning judges can issue fines and theoretical jail time. Since this has been a fucking circus, jail time or at least detention should be seriously considered
