I’m sure the reason could have been squeezed into the headline.
Not because he’s innocent of all wrong doing, but because the time limit for investigation has expired.
No wonder politicians feel empowered to do „questionable“ financial things, a one year time limit.
So will he face investigation for being a paid Russian politician?
So it’s legal as long as no one calls you out on it in a year?

So he’s going to do it again. He’ll pump as much money as Russia sends him into the election, win it, and then nothing will be done. Much like the fucking Brexit campaign.
Feels like the time limit for political spending issues really ought to be the length of a political term…. This just says if you hide it long enough you can do what you want
God forbid Farage experience consequences even once in his miserable little life.
