    1. Is this just an illusion based on map projection or can you confirm with longitude and latitude?

    2. In the north, there were the Ainu, and in the south and east, the Ryukyu Kingdom.

      However, Japan invaded and forcibly annexed both.

    3. It’s the hootin’est, tootin’est, shootin’est bobtail wildcat in the East! It’s the fastest gun north, south, east, *aaaaaand* west of the Korean peninsula!

    4. How did they manage to keep these tiny islands in the south? You would think either the US or China would have kept them after WW2 for strategic purposes.
