    1. This is hilarious given Texas’s laws requiring websites to get your legal name and age. You know, the same websites that definitely sell that same information to advertisers (which is why TVs started doing the same)

      Just a reminder that Texas isn’t the Republican bastion they want you to believe it is. It is very democratic and a lot of parts. It’s just been gerrymandered to hell

      They’ve been doing this since I was a kid. They used to, on occasion, say how many folks watched a particular show on a particular night. Back before streaming.

      This the same state that spies on women and tries to catch them if they leave the state for healthcare?

      The Texas AG is just mad that the state wasn’t cut in on the deal. I’m waiting to see how they settle it. My money is that includes data sharing with the state.

    6. The spying has only started LG have started forcing AI onto the sets and the rest will no doubt follow.
