The fact that whitehouse.gov is no longer a reliable source of information is sad

2028 to the moon and the 2030 establishment seems almost the same speed as China, only in the perfect schedule scenario. China rarely misses deadlines but I am not sure about the US. More resources and executive pressures are probably needed.
It is almost like a race between the US and China for the first time settling in Hawaii. The US simply cannot afford to lose.

Why are people freaking out ? Seems pretty routine, just restating Artemis and Gateway as the near term priority + the fission program that is already ongoing, commercial space stations to replace ISS, etc… Aside from the Iron Dome stuff that is not on NASA.
