    1. oh dear. is it finally acceptable to talk about these things instead of 30 years ago? Makes you wonder what’s beyond the Overton window 😐

These conversations are happening 20 years too late unfortunately.

Also your party presided over this mess, including suppressing conversations like these and the only reason why you’re speaking freely now is you know you’re not in government.

I miss the times when our politics was rooted in the belief individuals should be judged on their own actions, not the behaviour of whatever collective they were assigned at birth.

Can we call for people who dont respect humans to leave, should get rid of most of the MPS and house scalpers. Win win

    5. Does that include builders and van drivers who have a culture of cat-calling women? Or male, middle-aged middle-managers who have a culture of disrespect for their female colleagues?

I won’t be that sorry to see them go, but won’t we have to find somewhere that wants them?

In a sane world she would be calling for „INDIVIDUALS who don’t respect women to get out of our country“

But that’s probably a bit too low pitched to work as a dog whistle I guess.

Most of the people who think the same as you on this think you yourself come from such a culture, Kemi.

First black female leader of the Conservative party tells coloured people to get out of Britain.

      **What. The actual. Fuck.**

Badenoch wakes up each morning and the first thing she does is what can I say today which will beat racist Nigel F.
What she said is pure idiotic. She will be one to be deported as women in Nigeria are not well respected by the society there. Hope she has her passport ready.

I assume this doesn’t include the domestic abusers shouting at hotels?

    11. DanBronze13 on

Why she have to say “cultures” why can’t she just say “people that don’t respect women”. Fully on the reform style rhetoric now.

    12. Wasn’t she literally the minister for women who famously didn’t give a toss about vulnerable, struggling women? But then, years after it was her actual job and title to do something about it, suddenly developed an interest in grooming gangs?

    13. Kindly_Musician4666 on

10000% next they’ll be calling for the removal and extermination of the trans community. The silent genocide of trans people is one of the greatest sins of the 21 century

    14. StoneSnipeSteve on

does she know how British culture treats women? rampant domestic violence, poor conviction rates for rape and sexual assault, and when a conviction does happen the prison time is laughable, men in positions of power and status abusing women and getting away with it.

    15. NoScientist344 on

If what she means is actually behave or get lost, nobody could object to that.

I don’t think that is what she is saying. She’s saying don’t bother coming.

Do we do anything to police the values of those who come here? Obviously not. We don’t do anything to even discern their values.

But people can learn and grow. They might even benefit from being told what is acceptable. We don’t even do that.

She’s not quite developed a fully formed good idea and she’s spoke too soon. At least she is predictable like that.

So, we are rounding up every Christian? Have you read the bible’s views on women?

    17. Impressive-Bird-6085 on

Badenoch is just cynically cleaving to out-Farage Farage. It’s not just cynical. It’s reckless and putting her own self-interest way ahead of the interests of the country as a whole.
Badenoch’s engagement is such inflammatory language is highly irresponsible given the current serious problems with antisemitism, a febrile political environment on race relations and a polarised political environment. A Statesman/ Stateswoman Badenoch most certainly is not!!

    18. Sam_and_Linny on

Oh Badenoch, thinly veiled racism and Xenophobia are her favourite talking points

    19. Aspect-Unusual on

Can someone remind me what was that % of protesters who got done for abusing their wife/gf?

    20. WelshBluebird1 on

Because misogyny and sexual harassment has never been part of parts of British culture? Or is she telling those people to leave too?

    21. LoveBunny1972 on

Again move the conversation from actually doing something about violence to immigration. Great for the white guys I guess as they get a free pass for a while ?

    22. Virtual-Baseball-297 on

Or they could.. you know.. deport.

Oh wait ! The Boris wave! Silly me!

    23. Rumthiefno1 on

It’s one thing to say this about what removing misogynistic offenders to their overseas territories would address.

But there’s usually so much focus on that, and little on the people born in the UK from all groups who don’t respect women too. What about them?

    24. What about all politicians. They don’t differentiate between men and women and just have no respect for anyone.

    25. coffeewalnut08 on

Yeah, let’s just collectively demonise entire groups of immigrant families/communities around the country, purely on the basis of their national origins and nothing else, and tell them to „get out“.

So, husbands should help deport their Indian wife? Teachers should tell their Sri Lankan students to leave the country? Uni friends should tell their foreign peers to leave?

      WTF is this? Pitiful.
