Prolly a missile strike since it was not big enough for another Tunguska event. Certainly not someone taking a photo with a good flash. I was thinking it would be nice if someone could deflect another small asteroid to create a Tunguska event in Moscow but it would probably appear to be too much like a nuke and start WW3.

Hard to tell where it was unless it is this [fuel storage](https://www.google.com/maps/place/47%C2%B003'06.8%22N+39%C2%B043'00.7%22E) just to the south or the [industrial complex in Rostov-on-Don](https://www.google.com/maps/place/47%C2%B011'53.6%22N+39%C2%B041'35.7%22E) which is not too far away to the north.
Edit: Unless of course they have been using this [temporary army base at the local airport](https://www.google.com/maps/place/47%C2%B006'57.4%22N+39%C2%B047'28.4%22E) to store ammunition and someone has foolishly been smoking again. Oh, and there appears to be [a possible bomb storage](https://www.google.com/maps/place/47%C2%B007'16.7%22N+39%C2%B047'48.9%22E). Why would you need one of those at a domestic airport?
further edit: Also to the south there are [fuel storage at Mokril Batai](https://www.google.com/maps/place/47%C2%B002'53.4%22N+39%C2%B050'10.8%22E), and slightly further west, [HV substation](https://www.google.com/maps/place/47%C2%B002'43.6%22N+39%C2%B041'49.0%22E), [a fuel stoge place with lots of military vehicles parked nearby.](https://www.google.com/maps/place/47%C2%B003'02.9%22N+39%C2%B042'55.2%22E)
aw the lights didn’t go out.
Hopefully !
Propably just a Russian lighting their cigarette.
What’s the implication here? Sapsan/HRIM-2 Ballistic Missile? It would be in range.
It’s most likely an electrical malfunction.
