This attempt at a „ban“ on a phrase used for decades by people opposing the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians is going to be completely unworkable. It literally goes back to the First Intifada of the 1980s.
I don’t think banning the word ‚resistance‘ is going to work out for you, but try it lol.
I see that the Your Party gamble is paying dividends.
I am a lifelong supporter of the Palestinian cause, I support a two state solution, I have been boycotting Israeli products since the 70s.
I have no idea what good imbeciles like Sultana think they are doing. Supporting and amplifying terrorism should be as socially unacceptable as it was supporting the IRA.
The sort of unhinged activism we’ve seen since the October attacks (and the attack itself) have set the Palestinian people and their cause back a decade.

Very misleading title for this thread. There is nothing in the article about Sultana chanting about intifada.
Also, the word “intifada” is not inherently offensive. Context matters.
Where are all the Reform „but free speech!“ lot when you need them!
Maybe the Met should ban stealing and murder and then put as much effort into arresting for these things as they do for pensioners sitting peacefully with cardboard signs about Palestine.
