Just ban minors from social media then. If we can’t even police the real streets how can you get a private company to do so?
Well, tough nut to crack. Social media has entered human civilization with a flying kick, and legislation has lagged behind.
Mere acceptance of the terms of service is clearly inadequate a measure. As we find out more and more about the harmful effects of these platforms I look forward to the formalization of an actual and proper framework of responsibility.
Are we asking media companies to MORE closely observe and curate our information and communications?
