edit: Just to stop the comments, Aileen Cannon was a major problem with the investigation, she should be part of a future investigation. I’d also like and answer from Garland as to why the trial wasn’t moved to DC, or anywhere else classified documents were removed from, or improperly stored – like New Jersey. Every step of the way between Smith and a trial should be investigated.

So, now that the charges have dropped against Nauta and De Oliveira, and Jack Smith has testified in front of Jordan et al, I see no reason for Cannon to block the release of Smith’s final report.

They already know. We all watched it happen live on television. We know the other schemes he tried with fake electors and the recorded phone call where he told the Georgia Secretary of State to find him votes. All of this is public and well known. Congress had every opportunity in the world to act and didn’t. Every passing day that he holds that office is a failure of Congress and democracy.

I hope -when charged- jacks smith’s defense is essentially convicting trump of trying to overturn the election. smith’s findings will have to come out in discovery. I could see this all backfiring on trump much like his case with the Pulitzer committee… he sues then a bunch of shit he doesn’t want people to know comes out in discovery.
