    1. The evidence was in the bathroom. Pictures are the proof. Jack Smith should go public with everything.

      >BREAKING on MS NOW:

      >Jack Smith, in his opening statement to the House Judiciary Committee, says:

      >“Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and to prevent the lawful transfer of power.“

      >MORE from Jack Smith:

      >“Our investigation also developed powerful evidence that showed President Trump willfully retained highly classified documents after he left office in January 2021, storing them at his social club, including in a bathroom and a ballroom where events and gatherings took place. He then repeatedly tried to obstruct justice to conceal his continued retention of those documents.“

      I don’t believe it matters.

Anyone who listened to Trump’s call to Georgia and his pressuring Raffensperger to find 11,780 votes and overturn Trump’s loss, and hasn’t come to that conclusion yet, cannot look at this objectively and accept Trump tried to steal 2020.

He’s not going to get prosecuted. He’s not going to jail. His supporters will continue to support him because he lied and they believed him.

If Justice had moved swiftly maybe all of this could have been avoided but that’s not the case.

    4. We all saw the pictures. The man had a hoard of classified materials when he shouldn’t have. From witness accounts, he showed some of these files to people who shouldn’t have seen them.

Exhibit XXYS into Trump’s guilt. Also known as, another potential out for the GOP to 25th him and cut their losses that they choose to ignore, again.

Grandpa is a liability, and it’s going to get way, way worse this week.

**TLDR:** FFormer Special Counsel Jack Smith told the House Judiciary Committee during a private meeting that his team had strong evidence proving former President Donald Trump tried to illegally overturn the 2020 election. He also said they had clear proof that Trump broke the law by keeping classified documents at Mar-a-Lago and trying to stop officials from getting them back. Smith said all his decisions were based only on facts and the law, not politics. However, since Trump has become president again, the charges were dropped because the law says a sitting president can’t be indicted.

What an unbelievable timeline, that so much proof could be gathered yet by stymied by the defendant’s own hand-picked judge.

    9. Hunter Biden wanted to be questioned by the House committee that issued a subpoena to him in public. Jack Smith wanted to be questioned by the House committee that issued a subpoena to him in public.

Republicans continue to hide because the boogeymen they created would show the lies they told if the actual testimony was shown to the American public.

I mean the report said that if he hadn’t got elected they would have pursued prosecution which they wouldn’t do unless they knew they had more than enough to convict. If you read the stuff that wasn’t redacted it adds up to illegal actions.

    11. HowardBunnyColvin on

Maybe don’t wait until the 11th hour to prosecute and he could be in jail right now.

Trump played this perfectly. He intentionally delayed the judiciary system and hedged his bets on him being president. Well now he is and all the charges are dropped. Don’t charge him like 2 years before the election. Charge him the day after this shit happens.

„But they have to build a case.“

It doesn’t take 2 years to build something we all saw on TV. There, there he is saying to storm the capitol. Arrest him.

About to find out how serious the FBI is about cracking down on antifa.

    13. Everyone knows where we are at. We have a criminal working against the United States in the White House and no one can or will do anything about it. Everyone is waiting for him to pull the full dictator trigger and then claim they didn’t know and then be upset when they’re is really nothing left that can be done. We are approaching this moment full steam.

    14. Eggshellent1 on

We all knew this. It was obvious. It’s infuriating that there will be no justice.

    15. Waiting to have my hopes dashed *yet again* as this gets brushed under the rug like *everything else* in 3… 2… 1…

Please, *please*, prove me wrong anyone

    16. Laugh_Track_Zak on

Right, unfortunately we no longer live in a country that follows the rule of law.

      Go public and release everything.

You cannot win on the high ground with maga.

    17. So leak it! Please! Seriously, someone for fuck’s sake step up and leak all this stuff

    18. Total-Mushroom-9614 on

Why can’t he just go to the Hague and broadcast all this to the world? Would that be so wrong? Wrong-er than everything Dumpy has done? Like for real Im super tired.

    19. „Some of you in this room were also implicated in our investigation.“ – Hopefully Jack Smith lol.

If we ever get the public hearing, hope he says this.

    20. futanari_kaisa on

It’s too bad this is not going to go anywhere and lawmakers aren’t going to do anything. I don’t care about this being „on record“ for whatever history books will be written. Lawmakers decided none of this shit matters because „Trump is a capitalist and former president and we are too scared to hold someone like that accountable for crimes because that means we can be held accountable for our crimes too.“

    21. Lord_Nurggle on

Fuck you Merrick Garland. This whole mess is because you were too cowardly to do you job.

    22. Thors_Shillelagh on

This isn’t new. What are they going to do with this if a sitting president of immune? Are we going for another impeachment where we get fucking embarrassed when it doesn’t lead to anything?

    23. DistractedPhoenix on

Yea dude, we heard the call to Raffensperger.

If you have more than that, please do share

    24. RiseDelicious3556 on

We lost this battle, not for lack of evidence, but for the incompetence of Merrick Garland, who should never have been nominated as attorney general in the first place. Even more egregious is that Biden allowed hi to remain attorney general despite his ongoing incompetence. Now we are reduced to watching the fabric of our democracy unravel before our eyes as fascism permeates every branch of our government.

    25. I know a lot of people are going to be blaming Garland for slow walking all of this as they should be but it’s also important to point out that if Trump had lost the election he would be in jail by now but a lot of left wing voters decided to play stupid purity games to win stupid purity prizes.

    26. Of course they did. Why else is he being persecuted and forced to testify in closed hearing?

    27. So Trump broke the law multiple times and will face no consequences. Just another Wednesday folks move on.

    28. Candle-Jolly on

Sorry for the all caps, but:

THERE WAS LITERAL, PHYSICAL EVIDENCE AND LEGAL PRECIDENCE THAT TRUMP STOLE CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS FROM THE FUCKING WHITE HOUSE, and yet he remained untouched and is back in teh Oval Office.

Jack Smith has a case, but no power while Trump controls the courts.

And for those interested: some motherfucking sources, because that’s how I roll

And yet every single individual who is supposed to „judge without favor or prejudice“ failed. This goes beyond the actions of any single individual, our SYSTEM failed

    30. EggsceIlent on

Yep Trump’s options were prison or presidency so naturally he went all in called in every favor and anyone who’d „assist“.

Then he’s running scsm after scam to recover what he spent and of course to make himself richer than he’s ever been.

None of it was or is legal.

    31. I mean he was on the phone asking to ‚find‘ just enough votes to win GA. The fact that his followers still can split hairs over that reminds me of the Chappelle Show skit about R Kelly.

    32. Beltaine421 on

That may well be, but he hasn’t developed proof beyond an *unreasonable* doubt, which is what MAGA requires.

Release the unredacted Jack Smith congressional testimony video and transcripts NOW!

Why are republicans hiding Smith’s congressional testimony from the public?
