Ukraine needs to counter: All your base are belong to us
I keep hearing about how many losses Russia has taken. But they still seem to have an endless supply of bodies.
It seems like some’s fudging the numbers either for or against them.
To 710k from what number? Article does not say. 700k or 500k. Kind of a difference.
710,000 Russian goons, attacking, in winter, with no armoured reserves, air superiority or reliable intel support?
A fresh round of fertiliser for next year it is then.

In Donbas they have a 360k force on standby in Belarus..
Ukraine had thrown suicide after suicide mission to regain 16km^2 in Pokrovsk. Huge embarrassment for Russia who has been sieging Pokrovsk for > 17 months and still does not control the city..
But when we flip the roles (Ukraine counter offensive, trying to retake ground), they run into what Russia has been running into for years.. Substantial losses for marginal territorial gains.
Their counter offensive in Pokrovsk cost more lives than the past two weeks of fighting across the entire frontline did for Ukraine.. for 16km^2..
It’s a stalemate.. Russia can’t capture more ground without substantial losses. Ukraine can’t recapture lost territories without the same level of losses Russia has been willing to “meatgrind”. Russia still has the upper hand in number of troops and amount of equipment.. so counter offensives do not favour Ukraine.
At this point unless international pressure can force Russia to concede captured territory, a peace agreement seems impossible.. Ukraine wants their land back including Crimea, Russia won’t leave the Donbas region and or Crimea.
We’re stuck, only pain death and suffering will follow.. if this drags on Ukraine will be forced to lower the military draft age to 18.. (currently 25). They will have to sacrifice all their young men, students, their entire future generation if they are to keep this up. NATO needs to intervene.. NATO can step in and provide air superiority for Ukraine in a matter of weeks.. Russia is using hybrid warfare in almost all NATO countries, they practically declared war to NATO 10 times over, yet all we do is argue about sending some weapons.. where are the god damn troops, where is the full air defence coverage.. when will NATO DO SOMETHING?
