      Russia will endlessly test the west, so that must be an option.

      It is, however, odd that it’s called „peacekeeping.“ It’s primarily gonna be an intelligence and counterintelligence operation to identify and prevent both symmetric and asymmetric warfare initiated by Putin – there is no „peace“ to keep in Ukraine. It’s the option to retaliate and strike that’s the point. Perhaps also to give reassurances for investors who put money into rebuilding Ukraine.

      That „could“ is doing a good bit of heavy lifting there, either they can or they can’t… don’t be putting soldiers on guard duty where they will 110% be targeted by Russia if they’re gonna have to jump through a pile of legal mumbo jumbo just to see if they’re allowed to fire back.

      honestly, just keep on fighting. all the pro ukraine news outlet is saying russia is losing big time. why reach settlements now? ukrainian super human are killing 40k russian a month according to zelen. they’ll be at moscow in no time
