    1. So many people want to study in the United Kingdom for a while. This is actually really nice to read.

      Every EU member and the UK are already signed up to various youth mobility schemes which are global in their nature, it´s good to see EU & British citizens are going to be able to restart visiting one another

      **For info the UK youth mobility scheme is explained here:** [https://www.gov.uk/youth-mobility](https://www.gov.uk/youth-mobility)

      Unlike the Erasmus programme the UK Youth Mobility scheme allows people to work full time for up to two years and doesn´t have any particular focus on sports, education and so forth so it gives a wider range of opportunities to people but is less focused.

      **You can apply for a Youth Mobility Scheme visa if you:**

      * want to live and work in the UK for up to 2 years
      * are aged 18 to 30 or 18 to 35, depending on where you’re from
      * have £2,530 in savings

      **You can apply for the visa if you’re from:**

      * Australia
      * Canada
      * New Zealand
      * South Korea
      * Andorra
      * Iceland
      * Japan
      * Monaco
      * San Marino
      * Uruguay
      * Hong Kong, if you have an SAR passport
      * Taiwan

      **A separate scheme exists for Indians:** [https://www.gov.uk/india-young-professionals-scheme-visa](https://www.gov.uk/india-young-professionals-scheme-visa)

      This to me means that the UK will eventually come back in. The experience of Erasmus is very pro European unity. It makes you realize what we have in common and also, that we are quite different to each other. But not so different that we shouldn’t face the rest of the world together.

      So I am happy to see that the UK will be part of that experience again. And i really think it means that brexit has failed and the UK will not escape the cultural orbit of Europe.

      Rejoining Erasmus hardly counts as a „Brexit reset“. But better than nothing I guess.

      That’s great for the youth but we need to cut the red tape for our businesses to enable growth.

      I am very please with this. I was the only one in my Uk Uni to go on Eramus 10 years on I still talk to my freinds and meet them every year, and coming from a poor old mining town where is was very closed off in everyway it was my first experence of the world. Erasmus is well worth it.

    7. The best way to unify Europe is to create as much young mixed couples as possible, and this is a very good tool 😉
