      I can’t tell if it is just exiting tankers or also incoming tankers.

      My misty understanding is Venezuela’s oil is some very heavy, nasty stuff. They import some lighter fuel to mix with their heavy sour oil so that they can sell it.

      So they are (maybe?) receiving light Russian oil on sanctioned tankers only to remix and ship out their native oil.

      The question remains, just who exactly is this hurting? Venezuela? For sure. Russia? Maybe, maybe a fair bit if hurt.

      I don’t know. Can someone with more knowledge chime in please.

      TLDR: Trump is proclaiming that the entire country of Venezuela is blockaded and embargoed and no tankers will be allowed to leave or arrive.

      He is citing „all the assets, oil, and money that Venezuela has STOLLEN from the USA“. Which I have never even heard of before.

      So basically he is going to push and shoot for Regime Change so that someone he LIKES will be the new dictator.

      I thought MAGA didn’t want a WAR president.

      He’s probably announcing his “Big Beautiful War” on Venezuela.
