* put forward bills to strengthen GDPR, DMA and DSA
* enforce stricter compliance digital sovereignty rules
* investigate US tech companies on National Security Grounds
* work to have greater EU military cooperation and procurement
* minimum fines for on-going non-compliance, willful blindness, and retaliation by tech firms
* establish an EU Sovereign Wealth Fund with a mandate to invest into EU tech firms
* stricter reviews of MLAT requests and data sharing protocols
* introduction of EU-wide Digitial National Security Regulations, requiring source code reviews, code signing, supply chain security, etc. to minimise potential for backdoors
These are just some for technology, there are a lot of other sectors and mechanisms to explore, such as restrictions of investment sources, mandatory M&A reviews and so on.
