      But of course the EU should take half.

      It sounds like a lot but I am sure it costs much less than fighting the Russians directly on the battlefields. The problem is some Europeans just do not believe that Russia will not stop at Ukraine, or think that the battlefields are still too far away from them, or expect the US to pay the most even if it is an ocean away.

      Ukraine can win any time they want by going after the Ukrainian oligarchs.

      The Ukrainian oligarchs have stolen 100s of billion if not trillions of dollars since the 1990s. With that money Ukraine could build factories all over the world and train soldiers all over the world.

      But for one reason or another, the Ukrainian politicians have no problem yanking people off the street and forcing them into the military against their will, but going after the Ukrainian oligarchs can’t be done, the stolen money is holy.

      And before someone opens their big fat mouth about the Russian oligarchs, I have no problem with going after their stolen money, but there is no verdict in the home nation.

      Ukraine can at any time produce a verdict against the Ukrainian oligarchs and that verdict can then be used to seize assets and money that the Ukrainian oligarchs have all over the world.

      That’s it? Why doesn’t EU just raise income taxes by 10% for everyone until ruzzia and putler are trampled? Heck, even Belgium has more than $60B in ruzzian assets…

      EUs GDP is roughly $15,000 billion. Spending $60b is nothing. I’d gladly double it.
