Because this always confuses people, 1. what this is showing essentially is second largest racial/ethnic category. 2. Hispanic is not a race but it is widely understood as being one of the major categories of people in the U.S. along with the equally flawed and diverse categories of white, black, Asian, native.

I will say that Southern California is quite interesting to live in as a white person. Especially considering that I specifically grew up in a State that had almost exclusively only white and black people with virtually no other racial/ethnic groups present whatsoever.

Everywhere I go, I am the only white person in the place. I truly feel like I stand out and feel people looking at me. It’s almost like being in an entirely different country.

    3. Texas was equally White and Hispanic ( little under 40%) in the 2020 census.

Hispanics have almost certainly pulled ahead and Whites would be the biggest minority in Texas

Wow, 5 billion people in Asia and they can’t even take a single US state? They are playing a cupcake schedule over there!

„white“ only has two states, so whites are the minority of minorities. Doubly oppressed

Honestly it’s kind of wild for me to think about a place having more Black people than Hispanic people
