His eyes were red when he was interviewed. You can tell he was struggling to keep himself together.
Rob Reiner was widely beloved. A very nice man.
Jerry was literally up really early this morning (I also live on the west coast) to discuss this and said that Rob was like a Father to him and he owed everything to him. Jerry deserves credit for waking up really early this morning and he’s grieving a death of someone he’s known since he was 11 years old and he’s still in shock like the rest of us are.
Thank God there are people like Rob Reiner, who conducted their lives in a way that you can point to as role models for your children and grandchildren. You can’t do that with the President of the United States this year. You can’t do that with the Vice President. You can’t do that with even one cabinet secretary or appointed position. Not one.
