    1. From reporter Arthur Delaney:

Two prominent Republicans in the House of Representatives rebuked President [Donald Trump](https://www.huffpost.com/news/topic/donald-trump) on Monday over his creepy social media post about the killing of director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Reiner.

Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) ― right-wingers who’ve been on the president’s bad side lately ― reacted with disgust to Trump musing that the two were murdered because of Reiner’s “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

Oh look another huffpost article white washing the people destroying our country

This is clearly a double standard, coming from the same guy who threatened to rain legal hell on us if we spoke out against Charlie Kirk after his death.

I’m sure they’ll figure out a way to stomach it. MAGA has no ethics or morals.

    5. That’s two people that are on the outs with maga, definitely not maga as a group

    6. FartVirtuoso on

Yes, they can. It has changed not a single one of their minds about Trump.

    7. Trump is accusing Reiner of having imaginary TDS to rile up his base.
For the record, here is what Reiner said after the Charlie Kirk killing:

      >“Absolute horror, and I unfortunately saw the video of it,” Reiner replied. “It’s beyond belief what happened to him. That should never happen to anybody. I don’t care what your political beliefs are. That’s not acceptable. That’s not a solution to solving problems.”
“And I felt like what his wife [Erika] said at the service at the memorial they had was exactly right,” he continued. “I’m Jewish but I believe in the teachings of Jesus and I believe in ‘do unto others’ and I believe in forgiveness and what she said to me was beautiful. She forgave his assassin. And I think that is admirable.”

Sadly, this quote won’t penetrate into the MAGAsphere.

Pshaw, MAGATs are like scavengers, practically designed in a lab to hoover up rotten garbage.

Trump is a sociopath, plain and simple. Just a sick , deranged narcissist.

Never have we had a president, that is so disrespectful either. If maga can’t condemn it, then they are just as much to blame

It’s hilarious seeing all his supporters saying it’s a fake post. That’s what they do now. Just say it’s fake and move on.

Isn’t this kind of thing what they live for though? Why would they have trouble stomaching it?

Give it a day. They’ll find out about that time he said something nice about someone they despise to focus on, or some bullshit conspiracy, and accuse the left of crocadile tears for caring at all.

Every day Trump finds a new way to *piss all over* America’s international reputation.

    14. This is like the millionth vile thing Trump has said. They excused everything else. They will forget about this before the end of the week.

    15. *Rob Reiner on the Charlie Kirk murder: “Absolute horror and I unfortunately saw the video of it,” Reiner replied. “It’s beyond belief what happened to him. That should never happen to anybody. I don’t care what your political beliefs are. That’s not acceptable. That’s not a solution so solving problems.”*

*“And I felt like what his wife [Erika] said at the service at the memorial they had, was exactly right,” he continued. “I’m Jewish but I believe in the teachings of Jesus and I believe in ‘do unto others’ and I believe in forgiveness and what she said to me was beautiful. (When they go low, we remain human).

They support a dude that fucked trafficked children. This ain’t shit to them.

They stomached insurrection, secret police and concentration camps. They’ll manage this.

    18. Many more Americans know who Rob Reiner is – and have seen and love his work – than ever knew who Charlie Kirk was, even after his death. And yet here they are staying silent as the leader of their party and our country celebrates the idea that his critics be murdered. Because – to be clear – his statement is a call for his supporters to do this and he is claiming it’s justified.

    19. PalpatineForEmperor on

Bullshit. They love it. This is the type of stuff they want to see from their Dear Leader.

    20. Motor_Classic9651 on

A piece of sh!t like charlie kirk is „off limits“ but not Rob Reiner? Maga can go to hell.

    21. This is 100% what they voted for. Trump getting a reaction by saying hurtful shit.

Republicans all over America wanted this. This is the America they wanted.
