  1. Yes, blaming someone else when you’re doing something wrong is really the way to bring them back.

Am I so out of touch? No. It’s ~~the children~~ my caucus who are wrong.

  3. The epitome of “it’s the other side’s fault”. I’m surprise he dint say it’s Trudeau’s fault.

  4. PP is the best thing to happen to the Liberal Party in recent years. This is beyond parody — he might actually be a closet Liberal.

    Come again?

This is a perfect example of just how delusional Mr. Poilievre is.

May he remain the CPC leader for another decade!

  6. I really hope they vote him as leader in the next leadership election for the CPC. Just let them dig in and keep digging their own grave.

Wait so you’re telling me that him losing MPs is a sign of Carneys poor leadership?

Has the Beaverton just taken over our reality completely?

Carney’s a conservative anyway, it’s either Neo liberalism or maga idiots in pp

  9. Are we for real right now?

This is literally heading towards Carney vs. Doug Ford next election, there is no way this guy survives the review.

P.S. The primary reason PP lost is because he couldn’t condemn Trump. An effort to make sure that Albertans would somehow still respect him, and now the one Albertan that he needed to convince, (Smith) is knees down for Carney.

  10. What sort of embarrassing self owning incompetence would Peepee have demonstrated to the whole world if con voters had gotten what they wanted in the last election? Just be thankful he’s only getting owned by the PM of our own country.

„my opponent is too bad at leading others, that’s why so many of my fellow conservatives are crossing the aisle“ is not quite the flex he seems to think it is

  12. Some day, Carney’s gonna break his foot from kicking my butt so often. – PP

  13. So when the vote results in a Liberal minority, that’s Canadians „rejecting“ a Liberal majority. And now Carney is doing dirty „backroom“ deals to get his way….

But when Canadians voted for Bruce Fanjoy, that WASN’T them rejecting Pierre? PP then convincing another conservative member to resign from their seat so he can have it wasn’t a dirty backroom deal?

Give me a fucking break, the double standard is just grossly offensive at this point.

It is over for Pollieve. Despite the strong support within the caucus, there’s no way he can turn this around from here. It will only get worse and more ugly.

I’m not a fan of PP, but that interview was painful to watch. This has to be the final nail in this guy’s leadership coffin. His debate/defensive style reminds me of my children’s tactics.

I am so deeply thankful this dork is not our prime minister. I don’t even care if it’s the Conservative Party running the show, just not this guy

like what are you *talking about* dude????

  17. Penske-Material78 on

Nothing he thinks or says, seems to be a problem for Mark Carney’s leadership

  18. The lack of insight is just staggering. He can’t accept or believe that he lost and that he himself is a problem.

    Remind us of anyone else?

I had to stop listening to an interview at a point, and the end was worse apparently.

  19. Calling it now – that dumpster fire of an interview is the last straw for the MP that crosses the aisle and gives Carney a majority for Christmas.

And then he complains when people compare him to Trump. He may not be as crazy but he does have this in common with him: nothing is ever his fault.

  21. Signal-Spirit1731 on

He talks as though Canadian voters deliberately wanted a minority government, as if all the people voting Liberal on election day all of a sudden went „woah.. we better not give this guy too many votes or they’ll get a majority, everyone planning to vote liberal, go home! We got the minority we wanted !! Wohoo! “

People want results, not slogans. He says a majority govt will be more costly for people, would it not streamline the process of getting shit done so we don’t waste time debating in parliament?

  22. This is honestly so pathetic. What a joke, can we please have a real opposition leader to hold our government to account instead of playing childish games with childish excuses? Is that really so much to ask for?

  23. MojoRisin_ca on

Because he has nothing other than „liberal elites.“ No plans. No strategies. Apparently he is going to deregulate everything and reduce taxes to the point where everything is affordable and negotiate with Trump „from a position of strength.“ Everything that is bad in the world is Mark Carney’s fault including his Poilievre’s MPs crossing the floor.

No ideas on how to pay for it all however. I watched the interview and it was all finger pointing and reframing even though the reporter asked several times what he, Pierre Poilievre, would do differently. Sometime it is important to point that finger at the person in the mirror every now and then.

  24. He’s right. It’s the conservative’s problem (and Carney’s success simultaneously).

  25. Cold-Crab74 on

PP looking fuckin tired. I guess spouting the same bullshit endlessly and still losing everything wears on you eventually

  26. As usual from the Conservatives, demonstrating absolutely no ability to self-reflect

  27. Competitive-Tea-6141 on

I lost an election and three of my MPs have left less than 8 months later but it’s in no way my fault. Those are the words of a leader that steps up and takes responsibility
