I was skeptical of the claim that any of his supporters were „horrified.“ So I looked. However, to their credit, quite a few posters on some of the conservative social media platforms have, in fact, given at least some WTF responses.
At the same time, it kinda blows my mind that anyone is even a tiny bit surprised. It has been blatantly obvious for a decade that Trump has a very severe narcissistic personality disorder. This is what makes him manipulable by flattery, which Putin learned long ago.
