I remember back in 2016, a Big Mac meal was like $5, now it’s pushing $10 here. Trump’s „working class“ stunt feels even more hollow when folks are skipping meals to pay rent. Anyone else notice how grocery bills doubled too? Inflation’s a beast, but blaming it all on one side ignores the corps jacking prices for profit.

Mc Donald’s hasn’t been a value in a decade, they’ve had basically restaurant main course prices for a long while now.
They took advantage of inflation and free money in the pandemic and lost market share yum brands that decided to soon after the pandemic to be a loss leader again. They’re stuck doubling down in their market strategies and theyre losing ground.

McDonald’s had one job and that was to be cheap fast food. The burgers aren’t good. The breakfast isn’t. The coffee is weak. It’s job was just to be cheap fast food. It violated it’s own contract thinking it had a big dick and that it saw pussy. I used to get it maybe once every two weeks of i was out and about with the family. Now, why bother. I can spend 60 buying some McDonald’s shit lunch for 4 or 30 and just wait the extra hour to i get home.
It wasn’t even affordable then. There’s one near my work and I refuse to go there for lunch. The 2 cheeseburger meal with a medium fry and drink is $10. Those cheeseburgers used to be $1 each
There was a time where a pack of Kraft singles and .50¢ hamburgers from Mickey D’s was Wednesday night dinner. Now you might as well just buy ground beef and make your own burgers, it’s the same price as a „Value Meal“.
I will never eat at McDonalds again because of their complicity in getting him elected. The whole Kamala serving fries thing when she might have been a teenager vs the most powerful man in the world renting out a McDs for a photo op.
McDonald’s is not cheap anymore, it is a legit meal.
And working in the McDonald’s is also not something to be made fun of too, it is not easy to get a job there nowadays too.

The fact his stunt worked to convince people he’s one of them, gives me zero faith in the American voter going forward. I mean, countless other things already had, but this is yet another clear example of that fact being a scientifically proven one.
The nuggets at Stop & Shop in the hot and ready case are indistinguishable from the ones at McDonalds, and it’s $5 for 20 instead of $4.50 for 6.
Zero difference in taste or texture, but 1/4 the price.
And my kids prefer homemade fries we make in the air fryer. So that’s like $1
McDonalds is going up and up by the day.
