It’s not almost, it will be thorough. You can’t put millions through so much difficulty and expect them not to push back. The defeat will be very sound, and will ensure it will be a long time before Republicans can hurt anyone in these United States again

    2. My fear is that a midterm win for democrats could mean another Republican win in ‘24. Our people aren’t great at understanding cause and effect.

This feels like internal panic, not confidence.
If your own party chair is worrying publicly, that’s a leadership problem.

    4. Creating a fascist state, economc ruin, and killing people because they cannot afford healthcare might just be the kind of policies that not too many people want. Still, about 30 percent will still vote for anyone with an R next to their name regardless of the cause and effect of those policies.

The defeat will be beautiful, some say the best ever. Grown men will cry.

“So you don’t need to worry about defeating us, the cats in the bag like it was in 2024! 😁”

    7. Because you all bent the knee to a fascist. Your party is now a fascist regime. Congrats winning back the voters with a brain and a heart (I know it seems like a low number now). People are starving and the republicans have all the power. Time to reap what you’ve sown.

    8. Nah. They will fire up the billionaire media propaganda apparatus in the spring and convince everyone that since they are doing fine everyone else is too.

Are our policies out of touch?

No, no… it’s the American people who are wrong.

Well we are $38 trillion in debt and none of it went to improve education, affordability, healthcare, or housing. It all went to billionaires, millionaires, contractors, and aiding Israel’s genocide. Anyone who runs even a decent economic populist platform will win handily.

Yeah media outlets all pushed Trump’s „certain defeat“ in 2024. And we all know they wanted Trump to win. Regardless of the data behind it, that’s a tactic to keep you from voting.

The combination of presidency, GOP legialature, Project 2025 and SCOTUS has done the exact opposite of what they planned. I will never trust a Republican and its anecdotal but I am seeing many people who were never political before are watching all of this in horror and will now make sure to educate themselves about what is happening around them politically: local, state and national.

This shitstorm of corruption has truly woken the masses.

    13. „Almost certain“ because everyone knows dems are world class level of stealing defeat from the jaws of victory.

Do not believe them. This is a message to get you to not show up at the polls. They only lose if we show up

    15. All they need is one brown person to commit a crime on camera so Fox News can scream enough fear into the swing states for the next 10 months.

    16. They are also overblowing their „Certain Defeat“ to scare moderate voters to show up and support the party and also convince liberal voters their vote isn’t that important because their victory is „certain“….

    17. It’s their fault.

Newt Gingrich. He started this shit. He started us on the path to this see-saw back-and-forth every two years that prevents anyone from gaining power for too long, from actually bringing everything to the people. Well, they got it. And they can’t get rid of it.

Fuck you, fucking fuckers. Hope someone sticks gum on your seat.

A gentle reminder that the right often says things like this ahead of midterms with the hopes that it’ll make people think they don’t have to get out and vote because everyone else will be enough to defeat them. THEY ARE ONLY COOKED IF EVERY SINGLE PERSON GETS OUT AND VOTES, DO YOUR PART.

Yeah this is the thing that you can take comfort in if you’re feeling like the US is going to turn into some kind of Handmaids Tale society – these people are nothing but simple crooks, they just clothe it in this alt right stuff.

Does that mean they’re not racist, fascist, regressive monsters? No, they are. They’re also lazy crooks who want to spend their ill gotten gains in the same cultural circles that the Clintons do. They’re not going to do the hard work to implement fascism, they’re going to insider trade and do crony capitalism and get rich (with your tax dollars!), and then move on.

America is one big scam, it’s Russia with better PR.

So they’re already having a go at gerrymandering red states to try and desperately hold onto the House, what other bastardry and deceit can we expect from Trump and co to try and hold onto power in the Mid-terms?

    21. LadyduLac1018 on

I don’t just want them out politically, I want to see arrests. These fucks have not earned a peaceful ending, sleeping in their beds.

    22. VoodooS0ldier on

The funny (and disgraceful thing) is that they are never, ever concerned about the good of the nation, the good of the everyday American. You never hear them come out and say „this isn’t good for working class Americans“ when talking about outlook. It’s always the loss of power that they are concerned about. This, right here, is what is wrong with modern day politics in America. They are so fucking concerned about staying in power versus putting forth policies that benefit the average working American.

This doesn’t mean Democrats are so far ahead you don’t need to vote. Vote. Vote. Vote.
