Until „crushing defeat“ means that Heritage Foundation and Trump are only a memory of a failed coup I’m not going to be celebrating.

Spanberger, Sherril and Higgins have helped lead Democrats to historic victories, giving Democrats a gameplan

Being anti-Trump is only the first step. Old school Democrats beholden to billionaires and corporations have also got to go.

Great! More and faster please. And can some of these defeats also come with punishments?

Cheeto and crushing go together like, well Cheetos and crushing.

He finally started doing something I can support. This warms my cold dead heart

If Donald Trump was about 20 years younger I would say that it was performance art and he was secretly working to bring the Republican Party down from the inside.

Unfortunately I know that the more obvious answer is that he thought his base was alot bigger then it actually is. The midterms are going to be great. Stay strong everyone!!!

Until there are legal consequences for these criminals, they will just continue to push us into fascism and destroy this country.

Dragging is bullshit. More like leading and following because republicans certainly had a say in their decision to enable him.

Man, idk about y’all, but seems like this whole thing’s a dumpster fire lol. Reps gotta rethink their game or they’re gonna get rekt in the long run. Just sayin‘. No hate, just the 411 from where I’m sitting.

      So? – GOP

Do you think there is going to be free and/or far elections in 2026?

    12. Jerome_Eugene_Morrow on

Please. I would like the beatings to continue until morale improves.

    13. >“Amid mounting discomfort on the part of congressional Republicans—many of whom are reportedly pondering standing down rather than risk getting wiped out in a blue wave next year—Trump has launched a desperate tour of battleground states. But if his often contradictory rambling about inflation and other economic challenges during a Pennsylvania stop on Tuesday night is anything to go by, his campaigning is unlikely to renew GOP fortunes.“

The best advertising for future Democratic election victories is Trump on the stump — incoherent, barely awake, and spewing an endless stream of lies that real people who actually work, and actually shop, know are bullshit before the words leave his mouth.

And like the good little cultist’s that they are. They keep doing everything he demands in lockstep.

Yep… Supreme Court supermajority for a generation, Congressional maps gerrymandered for permanent minority control… Can’t wait for the Shocked Pikachu faces of the media pundits when the next election shows that the votes no longer matter and the levers of power no longer change hands.

    16. Lindsey Graham tried to warn them „if we nominate trump, we will get destroyed…and we will deserve it.“
      * This was before he became Trump’s lap dog because he is a political opportunist who stands for nothing.

I wish talk of the midterms stops. Any changes in 2027 will take months to have an impact.

      The damage now is destructive

    18. My health insurance now costs only 100$ less than my mortgage and I can barely afford to even use it. I’m a cancer survivor so I have to have it. Fuck you forever republicans

    19. VagabondReligion on

Dragging, my ass. They’ve been blithely skipping along side him like sugar-high schoolchildren.

Please remind republicans at any chance you get that they control all three branches of government, if they are upset with how things are going, there’s only one party to blame, another flavor of republicans (groyper, America first) will not fundamentally make your life any better

    21. Don’t hold your breath, stupid has a short memory. Pretty soon all those who didn’t hear, will feel. Even then, it’s still a maybe 🤣.

The fuck are you talking about? They **won**. You think they give a fuck about the mayor of Miami when Trump is out here impounding oil tankers and gets a crypto slush fund? Or do you think that if the elections are so one sided they can’t outright steal them the Dems will have the nads to prosecute the guilty?

**If** we somehow win the midterms. **If** we somehow take the presidency. Then there will be decades of rebuilding to do while juggling the albatross around our neck that is establishment Dems and ab electorate that has the memory of goldfish when it comes to how bad Republicans fucked them.

It’s a worthy fight but an uphill battle. I’m not saying dont enjoy the wind but thinking we’re on our way is insane.

When Trump was first elected a decade ago I had this idea that he was destined to destroy the Republican Party in the same way Anakin Skywalker would very eventually destroy The Sith. It’s taking longer than I expected tbh but some hope remains, they just have to finish throwing themselves down the bottomless shaft of his infinite failure.

    24. xoSweetCherriesxo on

At some point this stops being ‚party loyalty‘ and starts being a hostage situation, Republicans keep paying the price for tying themselves to one guy’s ego.
