      I’m going to back dollars to doughnuts that as much as they are pro-Finnish (which every Finnish political party should be), they’re secretly backed Russia.

      The politicians were kind to volunteer for a list that every Finnish person can strongly unite together to defeat and get out of power at the next election if not before, because all non-evil people, no matter their political position, can agree that such criminal anti-social forces must have no place in power at all!

      Just to give some context, these are all far right politicians who are already understood to be xenophobic. It isn’t like regular politicians are doing this.

      Unfortunately this far right party is currently in power. So they aren’t nobodies.

      Its always kinda sad, seeing bigotry abroad, especially in countries where you’d assume, due to things like better education and healthcare, that there would at least be LESS assholes in positions of power/influence.

      Good. Call our politicians out on this crap. It’s very shameful these clowns are allowed to have such high positions.

      The clowns doing this didn’t even apologize, they just said „Oh yeah, you just misunderstood what I meant.“ Then again that’s what conservatives do. Never apologize for anything, just deflect and gaslight.

      I had my face mocked like this on a daily basis as a child, from when I was 6 years old. I was a minority, i really was treated as a spectacle. To those of you laughing – you haven’t experienced it. I grew up feeling like an alien, extremely insecure and self-conscious about my eyes all the way from primary school through to high school. It took me years as an adult to feel comfortable with my features.

      They are fishing for attention from US politicians and their dark money. One of these guys have been desperately trying to get Elons attention before and has been in Russia in a youthcamp for young politicians in the past. Calculated move now that being openly racist has become the no1 get rich quick scheme.

      Such a disgusting person to get off on jumping into a controversy just so he can do something disrespectful. He gives zero shits about the Miss Finland lady and just wanted to start controversy and have an excuse to be racist.

      I have zero sympathy for whatever happens to this guy. I hope the consequences catch up to his actions.

      These people are from a right wing-party called the true finns. It’s disgusting, incredibly childish and most people aren’t accepting this in Finland. These guys sure gave a good bone for the trolls to chew on…

      But i’m equally as disgusted by the wide brush comments that are either by trolls or people blinded by hate for racism against their own ethnicity. „i can’t wait till Russia attacks Finland“, „this proves how every finn and european hates you to the bone“. Like are you surprised that we have our own share of assholes? Do countries and nations only exist as black and white monoliths in your head?

      Don’t think this is acceptable in Finland. These guys just are full on racists and they just got a lot of points from their racist voters.

      Right wing populists are a real problem in every country and they have quite unified message and tactics.

      Had some grown ass adults from Switzerland do the same thing in front of my kids – it was a little snapshot into how things like that can persist when they don’t have many immigrants.

      As an American I find it offensive that the Finnish people have appropriated our culture. We’re supposed to be the inappropriate morons.
