      They can only freeze assets held in French or European countries, and he’s based out of the US. So while this is all wishful thinking, it’s unlikely to amount to anything.

      Yeah right. Freezing assets maybe. But if anyone seriously thinks they will jail Musk is delusional. The sheer diplomatic shitshow it will cause is not in France’s interest.

      They couldn’t even keep their own citizen and former president in jail for more than 3 weeks.

      We won’t do it Macron as no balls and is all friendly with the billionaires. Sarkozy got 12 days of jail time. French justice system is a joke. Macron will maybe just add more taxes to Tesla owners if it end-up very far lol.

      Adding more taxes to middle and low income people is all they can do.

      Every country he has done this to should do this. In the land down under, he has or is building a battery making business in South Australia. I wouldn’t mine us taking it off his hands one we check it for bugs.

      This is only being debated because he’s wealthy. If the only argument for not enforcing the law is because of how wealthy someone is then your legal system is a sham.

      Yes, I know that includes pretty much every nation’s leadership in the world. Doesn’t make it not true.
