The logo of Palantir is a Crystal Ball on a mount or stand.

It’s also a picture of someone reading a book.

Defense companies advertising to Federal employees is not new. Have you never seen a Raytheon commercial on TV?

Think about it, it’s the best bang for your buck. If a couple hundred thou can help get you a multi-billion dollar contract…

They arent advertising in the conventional sense. They are normalizing themselves, or paying to familiarize / desensitize the public to their name so that when ppl see or hear the name Palantir it isnt foreign to them. They are acclimating the public to their presence so that people get used to them.

It’s a “buy our stock” ad, nothing more.

I can’t believe I’m the first comment to say this.

    5. motosandguns on

They want the teens (and future officers) who go to army/navy to grow up comfortable with seeing Palantir’s name over them

    6. Dingobabies on

Very simple. You’re witnessing Public Desensitization in real time. If you take the time to post here you are not the intended audience.

    7. They are just trying to get people to associate them with positive things like ball games.

hate the company but this is to acquire shareholders.

same reason you see any enterprise or security based company advertise.

    9. nino_blanco720 on

They aren’t advertising for clients they are planting their name in the products minds so they aren’t afraid of it when they unleash „person of interest“ level bullshit on us.

    10. Some of these comments are funny lol, they’re advertising to companies and contractors that work with govt/DOD. Clearly this is an army/navy? football game that those people may be watching.

    11. WatercressAdorable81 on

All army games have defense contractors advertising, women’s volley ball has lockhead martin on the scoring table.

    12. Who do you think signs off on DoD contracts?

Who do you think watches army/navy games?

    13. libretumente on

Well the game is army . . . Selling stock is also a morive and this is their demographic.

    14. JerseyGemsTC on

Defense contractor… at the army navy game??? That’s like their perfect target audience lol

It’s not like they’re buying palantir products for their homes, but they will work at companies that do could do biz with them for sure.
