Norway seems to have gone the opposite way than the rest of Europe. Unfortunately… November was Tesla’s best month in Norway with roughly 1 in 3 new cars sold being a Tesla. Total Tesla cars sold this year (jan-nov) was 28 606 vehicles or 19.8 % of all cars sold.

I have never owned an electric car but I heard the Chinese car BYD is much better and cheaper than Tesla. Don’t know how true that is but if true that might be the cause for Tesla’s decline in sales

Chinese EV makers like BYD are smashing growth curves in Europe with a wider range of newer, cheaper models. BYD sales have grown dramatically while Tesla’s have fallen, and in many countries BYD outsold Tesla outright.

Nice, get rid of the harmful for the enviroment EVs. They require by far more tons of C02 to be produced, their batteries are a bio hazard, and the recharging in most cases is done through conventional sources of power so they pollute the enviroment. Europe had proper automobil industry and the Americans through their fake science insttutes tried ot convince us to uproot our Industry and buy Teslas and BYDs from China.

In the UK the Ford Puma, Kia EV3, Renault 5 are the top 3 most popular EVs.
I see teslas everywhere in Portugal, so even if they are declining they sold a lot here.

This map is January 2025 vs January 2024 only. For Norway, Tesla actually did drop YoY in January (~-38%), so the ~-40% shown isn’t wrong. What’s confusing people is that Tesla rebounded strongly later in 2025, which this chart doesn’t reflect. Month-to-month vs full-year trend issue, not necessarily bad data.
