      The economy is on the verge of a precipice. It looks bad for the GOP indeed. The administration is actively hiding the true economic data – everyone who actually participates in the real economy can tell you that no one is hiring and there are stealth layoffs everywhere.

      Well seeing as the Republicans solution to fix the economy is to plug their ears and say „Nu-uh, the economy is good!“ I dont see it turning around anything soon.

      All the disrespect to Newt Gingrich but the economy isn’t the only reason the GOP is screwed at the midterms. Along with the economy, the impeding war with Venezuela they are waging, the handling of the Epstein files, the collapse of the Republican Party because of the Epstein Files, the blatant corruptions and not to mention the longest shut down of the government are all valid reasons that will absolutely lead to the GOP getting their shit rocked and for good reason.

      Edit. Also the ICE enforcement, trumps immigration policy, etc.

      No possible way it’s going to recovery. Even if the trump admin do everything right it won’t recover. Their only hope is inject the economy with money, boost for a short period of time, probably till 2027. Even that is unlikely to have an effect. Even if it would have an effect this administration is not even remotely competent enough to pull it off.

      There’s a 0% chance the economy will recover in the near term.

      Our biggest problems are self-inflicted by this administration. Nothing gets better until they go.
