Lets all take a huge breath in only 2 months Syria president became an ex isis as well as just a regular terrorist wanted for 2 million dollars in woshington to a person that can enter the white house. This US administration has been proven to be very naive with its conduct in Ukraine. I feel like this is just another naibe move from the white house.

Most Jews left Syria in the 50-60s of the last century. I don’t think any of them will return, or reclaim any property any time soon. I’d love to see a peace agreement with Syria, followed by one with Lebanon (once hizbolla is neutralized of course). There are some territorial disputes between the 3 countries, but these can be solved if the proper security measures are put in place.
