Canada’s boycott is hitting U.S. border states plus Florida/Arizona and Vegas so hard that Congress just added “Canadian snowbirds” to the list of endangered species.

I’m really confused how a Democratic Senator from New Hampshire talking to the Prime Minister is going to get me to spend my money at Disneyland. I’m sure it somehow makes sense to her.

It really won’t be difficult to boycott USA until “ he“ is 6 feet under. ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE !

Don’t worry, i’m sure people from those border states can just invest in whatever the latest Trump meme crypto coin will be and improve their fortunes. /s

Canadian here, if there is an alternative I certainly buy it elsewhere than from the US. Even if it’s more expensive.

Their ambassador Pete Hoekstra is doing a fine job of convincing even more Canadians to never step foot in that Country ever again

Good on Canadians for not bowing down to the American pedo king. Elbows up.

It’s a divorce.

Every time Hoekstra opens his mouth he insults Canadians and motivates even more to boycott the US.
At this point it seems like the US is intentionally alienating itself from allies.

Facts stands in stark contrast to all those op-eds that are saying Canadians aren’t boycotting, are thinking of stopping boycotting or that boycotting is having no effect.

When are they going to claim “Canadians have shared American culture?”

I haven’t crossed that border sine Trump 1, and am fairly certain I will likely never cross that border again in my lifetime if I can help it. And I have American family…
The majority of Americans I have met, and know are lovely people, but their institutions are no longer trust worthy.

According to Trump, everything is going well… So well, that he has no issues demanding 5 years of social media history.
He’s such a tool.

I still go out of my way to avoid buying American products. I don’t see myself ever going back to the U.S in my lifetime. Doesn’t matter if Trump is gone. The problems run much deeper than just Trump.

>> The report, prepared by the Democrat minority of the U.S. Congress’s joint economic committee, warns that states along the Canada-U.S. border are being hit hard
The majority of states along the US-Canadian border voted for Trump and his policies so it seems like they are getting what they voted for. Having said that, you think tourism is bad now just wait until they implement the rule that lets them demand access to five years of your social media history.

We vacation in Maine every year. Cottage on the beach is owned by the family since the 50’s.
This was the first year that nobody went down….

I’m kind of disappointed that tourism numbers are only down by 20%. Should be more in my opinion.

Good. We’re gonna isolate and starve your democracy until you fix it.
Get that fascist out of office and we’ll happily come back to your gaudy theme parks.

My local Sobeys (grocery store, more on the higher end) tends to sell a lot more American-sourced produce than other stores. I still always check what country they come from, particularly produce over other things, and immediately put it back down if it says USA.
I’ll gladly spend $5 for a head of iceberg lettuce from Mexico over the yankee filth thats on sale for $2-3

And they think requiring people to give their DNA and full email and social media history for them to look at will make people want to go.
These stupid Democratic governors should be talking to Trump, not us. It’s insane how little they don’t see the issue as them.
It’s you, not me.

The switch to Canadian products was trivially easy.
That said, I’ll continue to support Costco > Loblaws any day of the week. Good US companies that treat employees and customers right over shitty Canadian corporations

Good! Keep going! The United States voted for this overwhelmingly, so they can face the hardships that are a direct result of their vote. It is so disappointing. People are not just going to be spending money in a country that has stated numerous times that Canada should be the 51st state. Don’t give a dime!
