Man, gotta say this is wild. Tbh, think it’s a bit sketch, pardoning someone who legit broke the law. Not a political thing, just seems like an obvious abuse of power imo. We need accountability, not this kinda stuff. Just sayin‘.

The pardons are coming in faster than running water wth is going on, is he bored again Or is this just another political strategy?
It doesn’t look like the pardon has been honored and I hope and pray it never happens. The unconstitutional federal overreach has been beyond ridiculous.

I’m sure it’s to try to set up another battle at the Supreme Court where he argues he should win out over state law, and Thomas and Alito will go for it since a Republican is in office.

it’s amazing how much work we have, after the revolution, or if we ever come out of this. the checks and balances have been so eroded, power has be so consolidated that somehow we’re going to have to rebuild the entire infrastructure of the government at the same time as we rewrite all the regulations to reign in the private sector and monopolies.
if this were a home a remodel project, we really are at the point where it’d be cheaper and more practical to just buy a new house.

So once again Trump farts in the wind. Presidential pardons have NO jurisdiction I in state courts. That power lies in the hands of said state’s Governor.

Her continued jail sentence should be a reminder to everyone that he can’t protect those who are loyal to him. He can and he will only protect himself.

We have to remove, or at least severely restrict the pardon power of the President. A system that allows people to interfere with elections with the knowledge that their candidate will pardon them if he wins is doomed.

He didn’t pardon her. He said he pardoned her. Big difference, especially considering that he has no authority to pardon state crimes.

I hope she accepts Trump’s pardon… By doing so, she’ll accept her admission of guilt… And then we can use that as evidence at her State of Colorado parole denial to keep her in jail until she is buried in Potter’s field.

„Under the Constitution, the president’s pardon power [applies](https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/artII-S2-C1-3-1/ALDE_00013316/) to „Offences against the United States,“ which is almost universally understood not to include state crimes. But Peters‘ lawyer, Peter Ticktin, [laid out](https://coloradonewsline.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Sup.-Cover-Letter-for-Application-for-Pardon-for-Tina-Peters.pdf) a theory that the power could extend to the states. Ticktin acknowledged that the issue „has never been raised in any court.“
