    Magnitude 6.7 and a tsunami advisory doesn’t always mean huge waves, but it’s smart that Japan doesn’t take chances. Their early warning systems and drills are honestly impressive compared to most places

  3. On average Japan experiences over 150 earthquakes over 5.0 every year. That’s pretty scary. And that number is even higher if you count ones under 5.0, well over 1,000 a year.
